I just had these thoughts and figured this was the best place to blast them down as some of the crew must read the comments..
Anyways, off topic I’m sure, but finally got to watch Where The Wild Things Are, had read a few bad and really good reviews here and there – any review is subjective of course but one thing I really took away from the film were thoughts and feelings I hadn’t touched on since I was a kid. I really felt the film tapped into and dusted off parts of my brain I literally hadn’t riled up since childhood. And that is a good, refreshing thing and a nice feeling. Particularly the making of the big fortress, I really drifted back 15 years and totally felt like a kid in the woods hiding from the world, (although back then I was always searching for the entrance to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sewer!).
That’s all I wanted to say really. Great job! :-)
