Spike Jonze’s feature film rendition of Maurice Sendaks classic story Where The Wild Things Are has hit movie theaters worldwide.
The film represents years of work from hundreds of different artists, writers, photographers, musicians, actors, and creators of all degrees.
This place has been established to help shed some light on many of the small influences that converged to make this massive project a reality.

Yo! Happy Birthday, man! I turn 40 tomorrow, (10/23) I was born 1 day after you. 10.23.69 in San Diego. I recently discovered this interesting fact while reading an article about WTWTA. Great appreciator of your work. From “Drop”, “Sabotage” all the way through WTWTA. My 5 year old son is named Max and I named him after king Max. Bought him the book while he was still in the womb. Keep up the good work, can’t wait to see what you do next!

Spike, your movie was amazing, I have seen it 3 times already and may even go again. There is something about it that gets to me, deep down.
