		<description>The really amazing fact is that the entire colony was constructed in total darkness. I&#039;ve read elsewhere that all worker ants are sterile females, and that the queen of a colony can live to be 21 years old. Such a tiny creature, yet so highly evolved.</description>

		<description>It&#039;s a shame they had to kill the entire superorganism to study it. Maybe one day some creatures will pour a zillion tons of concrete into the New York subway system (with people still inside) and then dig it up.</description>
